Project capabilities

Foam fabrication for your component.

Green Foams supports foam fabrication review through material discussion, formulation, mold development, sample preparation and OEM/ODM cooperation. Start with the component and the conditions it needs to meet.

Material comes first

One project brief. A specific material route.

A packaging insert, sealing component, structural core and seating cushion ask different questions. The material family guides the discussion; the application and acceptance criteria define the specification.

Compare the material families →
  • Packaging

EPE, EPP and EVA routes for protective packaging and cushioning. Confirm format, geometry and sample conditions.

  • Sealing and rubber foam

Review contact surfaces, compression, temperature and media requirements before choosing the material.

  • Structural foam and cushions

Distinguish the load-bearing or insulation task from seating support and comfort requirements.

Project collaboration

From a drawing to an agreed production requirement.

  1. Define the component

Describe the application, interfaces, dimensions and the task the foam must perform. Label provisional requirements.

  2. Review material and route

Discuss the material family, formulation needs and construction. Confirm whether tooling, cutting or assembly applies to the selected material.

  3. Develop and check the sample

Agree what the sample must demonstrate, then review fit, dimensions and relevant functional requirements.

  4. Record production requirements

Align the approved drawing and material with inspection points, remaining evidence and project-specific commercial terms.

Quality discussion

Agree what needs to be checked.

The company materials describe raw-material inspection, process control and finished-product inspection. Each project still needs relevant material data, dimensional checks and agreed acceptance criteria.

Specify the test method and the material or part it must cover. Ask for applicable evidence before accepting a numeric performance value or compliance statement.

Manufacturing questions

Which information starts a manufacturing review?

Send the application, drawing or sample, critical dimensions and expected volume. Include exposure conditions and acceptance requirements so the material and process route can be discussed together.

Are all listed processes available for every foam family?

No universal process scope is stated. The company materials describe formulation, mold development, sample preparation and manufacturing support. Cutting, lamination, molding and inserts need material-specific confirmation for the project.

Does a sample establish the final production specification?

A sample supports the agreed review objective. Confirm its material, construction, drawing revision and evaluation limits before recording what is approved for production.
