Where To Find All Gifts In Mission 6: Covenant Of Neon White

neon whiteThe sixth mission is something of an escalation. These are some of the most deviously difficult platforming sections in the game. But it’s not just the platforming that’s super tricky in these levels: it’s also the placement of gifts. One of the favorite tricks of this mission is to place the gift in view from the starting position, only to have to go on a wild goose chase to get said gift. That’s right, now they’re making fun of us.

A big part of what makes these stages so tricky are the new types of demons: the tripwire demon and the landmine demon. The tripwire doesn’t play much of a role in your current hunting efforts, but the landmine fiends function as a dynamic launch pad, meaning they’ll play a pivotal role in acquiring some of these hidden treasures. But don’t worry, we are more than happy to guide you through these trials and tribulations.

Hanging Gardens

Continue the stage as you normally would. Nevertheless, once you get to the segment with the two assault rifles: stop. Take both assault rifles and turn around. If you look up, you should see the gift. There are two smaller structures that lead directly to it. Just use the Assault Rifle Discard ability to bombard and jump to the top of those structures. Voila, you are now the proud owner of a Tattletail Toy.

Tangled up

This gift is located on top of the structure at the end of the stage. To get to it, you will need two shotguns. So start the stage as you normally would. Keep going until you reach your first red door. Then it stops! Don’t go through that door; Put away the shotgun and jump out the window to the left. Now, take out the enemies huddled around the treasure chest below. Open that chest and you should have two shotguns.

From here, jump from balloon demon to balloon demon while taking out the trap demons.. Once you get to the landing at the top (where there is another shotgun), jump back to the section where single and use shotgun discards to shoot yourself high into the air. You will land on top of this giant structure and be able to grab the Lucky Cat Statue. Phew!

Catering

This is a complicated, complicated gift. It is actually on top of you when you start the level. however it is single out of reach. So what you need to do is keep your sniper rifles. That means not using those discard abilities. Don’t worry about taking out all the tripwire demons, just shoot the one pointed at the red door early on so you can get through.

At the spot where you get the pistol, look to your left. Now, go up here using the double jump ability of the pistol. You will now be on another floor. Head to the right side of this section and climb over the objects. At this point you should be able to see the gift floating in the distance. By discarding your two sniper rifles, you will be able to boost directly. You’ll grab another one of those coveted Tattletail toys.

kill switch

To get this gift you must complete the whole stage. Once you’ve cleared out all the enemies in the final section, look for a vending machine. You will have two pistols. Take both. You should now have three pistols in total.

Turn around and go back the way you came. Simply scrap each sidearm to make the breach each time, aiming for the highest platform you can get to the right, and very quickly you will be in the line of sight of the present. Use your final firearm discard to jump on him. You will grab the Cigars.

Falling

At the beginning of the stage, grab the shotgun and shoot the red cannon. Then use the giant explosion to blast your way to the back of the giant tower. We’re looking for a red hatch in the rear section. Once you find it, use the shotgun’s discard ability to get through it. Done, you will get the Perfume.

Disgusting surprise

Even though this present is as clear as water from the beginning of the stage, you will have to complete the whole level to get to it. Which is a bit messy. Just finish the entire stage like you normally would. However, once you’re on the platform with the last landmine demon and you’re facing the level’s exit, the area to your right is where you want to go.

You will have a shotgun at this point. So, use his discard ability to get on the roof of the building where this level started. Now, you can simply jump in and claim your gift.

Bouquet

Once you get the two assault rifle cards, jump into the green section of the land mine that the canal takes you to. However, with the next landmine, you’ll want to hit the section facing northwest (from your perspective). Check out the image above for a little more clarity on that. This will send you flying towards the gift of this stage. Do everything correctly and you should now have the Lucky Cat Statue in your possession.

Set up

Continue this stage as you normally would. EITHEROnce you’ve hit the first blue demon, follow the canal to the end and look to your left. You will see the present in the distance. Now, jump over the section of the landmine demon pointing to the present to let it propel you towards your prize, then use the sniper rifle’s discard ability to take you the rest of the way.

travel track

After the section near the end of the stage where you take out a blue demon, continue down the canal and take out the yellow demon. But don’t go an inch further. Instead, go back to where you killed the blue demon.

Now, if you look across the road, you will see the present in the distance. Climb onto the nearby structure and get as close as you can to the present. From there, jump towards it and use your pistol and sniper rifle discards to cross the gap. You will now have a Six Pack.

The race

This stage is a pretty intense platinum medal to pull off, but the giveaway is a total breeze. This gift is floating above and to the left of the destructible door around the middle of the stage. All you need to do is get down on their level.

So, back up until you find a platform low enough that you can jump on it. Then head towards the prize. Once you’ve gotten as close to the present as possible, simply jump across the gap and use the sniper rifle’s discard ability to dash towards it. This Tattletale toy is extremely easy to obtain.
